As a carefree child, I never would have entertained these ideas. They were foreign to me, as I was, and generally still am, a very happy person.

But, there was a time when I wasn’t so happy. There was a time when I felt trapped within my own thoughts and eaten alive by my own fears. I’ve avoided this topic for four years, now, and, even in the midst of The Happening, I still avoided the reality.
